I celebrate ceremonies that tell your stories

Participating in a secular ceremony means taking part in a celebration and rite totally unrelated to any religious implications, non-formal and personalized according to the requests and needs of the principals. It also means being involved in a ceremony that is inclusive and respectful of all thoughts and beliefs, free from dogma and constraints other than human ones among the people participating.
Choosing for oneself a secular ceremony reflects one's beliefs and allows the principals to make commitments only to themselves and to each other, often involving the participants as well.
Choosing for one's children a welcoming ceremony means giving them the freedom of an adult and conscious choice and letting them grow up without starting life with any kind of subservience.
Ceremonies are part of human history, are not only religious and are related to moments of passage. They can be celebrated in the civil sphere (e.g., a graduation ceremony) or at moments of passage (births, marriages, entry into adulthood, death....). In our country they are immediately associated with religious ceremonies, but rites are the "certifying" and symbolic moments that have always belonged to humanity.
In our society imbued with Catholicism some are linked to sacraments, such as baptism, marriage and death, but a great many are still unconnected to them, for example, a graduation ceremony.
Too often even ceremonies that would in themselves be entirely secular are cloaked in religiosity, for example, the inauguration of public works in which a priest attends to bless them.

Free of dogma, secular humanist ceremonies embrace the diversity of the human experience, welcoming without discrimination people of all backgrounds, beliefs and cultures. They are inclusive moments that recognize and respect the unique and individual paths in which each human being recognizes himself or herself, promoting a sense of belonging and shared purpose
